Physiotherapy and Pilates
The Balearic Golf Federation held the 2016 Golf Awards Gala where Marc Bota was awarded for his 2nd place in the 2016 Balearic Championship of Pich & Put Handicap. Marc is the youngest student I’ve had in Aequus.
When Marc started coming to class at Estudio Aequus, on Vicenç Joan i Rosselló 32, a multidisciplinary health center:
Pilates, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Nutrition, we had a very important challenge with him.
Knowing his passion for golf and training hours, he came to us with his parents’ concern about his back, since he usually complained of lower back pain.
We were able to assess that not only was there an overload in the musculature of the lower back, it also suffered from a significant shortening of hamstrings.
After 3 months of functional work, based on Pilates exercises on the floor and suitable machines to restore the muscular balance of its posterior chain, the improvement of its lumbar stability and the flexibility of its legs, its evolution has been very satisfactory.
At all times the age 11 years, height and weight have been taken into account to adapt the exercises to your person.
As well as the characteristics and needs of your sport, favoring its evolution with programmed schedules, and at the same time helping your body to compensate for the demands that golf practice has.
We are very proud of the prize won by Marc, his second place in the Pich & Put Handicap championship, where the corresponding prize is presented in the snapshots.
It is a pleasure to be able to put our “sand grain” in your life and sport, providing your body with the appropriate muscle tools to achieve more success and health, in the long “professional” career that lies ahead, Congratulations Marc.
